Sick of the concept of wasting our lives working, more and more people are being drawn to the idea of combining work and travel.

You may be interested in this concept as well but thinking how do I make it happen? I don’t have any skills I can take on the road.

Actually, so many ways to make money while traveling exist that, chances are, you already know how to do something that you could potentially earn money with on the road. If you don’t, there are courses you can take to teach you different ways to make money while traveling.

I’ve compiled the following list of 26 work and travel jobs from A to Z in order to show you the wide range of ways that you can make money while traveling. These jobs run the spectrum from necessitating an advanced degree to not requiring any formal education at all.

Most of these jobs do not involve traveling as part of the job. Rather, they are online jobs (also called remote jobs or virtual jobs) that you can perform from anywhere in the world while you’re traveling.

For each of these 26 jobs I’ve included either information about online courses, both free and paid, or information about current job openings. So here are 26 work and travel jobs from A to Z.

Administrative Assistant – An administrative assistant is someone who supports an executive, group, department, or organization by performing administrative tasks like data entry, correspondence, filing, and scheduling appointments. Many administrative assistants work online. You should learn how to be an administrative assistant before looking for a job in this field. Blogger – Some bloggers make no money. Some bloggers make six figures a year. A lot of bloggers are somewhere in the middle. It’s pretty certain that if you try to make money blogging, you will succeed if you do it right. Matthew Kepnes, an M.B.A. and the world’s top travel blogger, has created an online course where he shares how you can succeed at blogging. Customer Service Representative – Customer service representatives typically answer product and service questions, suggest information about products and services, process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Many customer service reps work remotely. You can find an online customer service course here.

Finance – Many jobs involving money can be performed online while traveling such as bookkeeper, accountant, finance manager and account manager. You can find finance online positions here.

Healthcare Worker – Believe it or not, online jobs in the healthcare industry exist in the customer service sector. You can find online healthcare jobs here.

Interpreter – Interpreters interpret from one language to another spoken words in many situations: court cases, doctors’ appointments, interviews and more. You can find online interpreter positions here.

K-12 Teacher – The increase in homeschooling as well as online learning platforms has given rise to a demand for online teachers in kindergarten through 12th grade. You can find online teaching positions here.

QuickBooks Specialist – QuickBooks may be a fairly easy way to keep track of finances, but that doesn’t mean everyone knows how to use this software. If you do, you could get a job as online Quickbooks expert here.

Real Estate Virtual Assistant – Real estate virtual assistant is a new online VA niche for people with an interest in real estate who don’t want to become full-fledged real estate agents. Vlogger – Vloggers earn money by creating high-quality, compelling YouTube videos on a wide variety of topics. Writer – So many people love to write. You can find a large variety of online courses to teach you about writing here. X-ray Technician – X-ray technicians need not be tied to one spot. In the U.S. anyway there are traveling x-ray technician jobs which you can find here.
