Working at home is one of the best things in the world. If you work at home – or if you know someone who does – you know that it is a great way to live.
While it can feel really great to stay inside all winter long while everyone else drives through the snow and ice to work, every good situation can always be made better. When you have the right stuff to keep you warm, to keep you healthy and to keep you happy, you can work better and live better.
I myself work at home and like to try to help other people succeed in doing the same. So now that winter has arrived, I’ve put together some gift ideas to help you enhance the life of someone you know who works out of their home. All of these items are favorites that I and/or my partner own and use ourselves, or wish we owned. So here are 15 warm and homey gift ideas I highly recommend for people who are working from home this winter.
15 Work from Home Holiday Gift Ideas
Keurig Coffee Maker – Keurig is the original individual coffee cup maker, and its Mini Plus version is smaller and even more personal than the original. This can fit perfectly on a desk in your home office. I drink Keurig all the time and am hoping to find this Mini Plus under my Christmas tree this year!
Dearfoams Slippers – One of the best and least expensive ways to keep warm in winter is by simply wearing slippers. It took a while for me to figure this out! Now I wear this exact pair of Dearfoams clog slippers. I adore them, and I’m warmer now.
Genteel Super-Soft Sherpa Throw Blanket – Blankets, of course, are another super easy and inexpensive way to keep warm in winter. While wrapping up in a blanket in an office might be frowned upon, there is no reason you can’t do it when you work from home, and there’s nothing softer than a luxurious micro plush throw.
Stash Green Tea – Green tea is so good for you, full of antioxidants which can help you get and stay healthy. I drink green tea every day while I’m working and while I’m relaxing, and I’ve loved Stash for a long time. This gift pack gives you the opportunity to try six different flavors of their green tea.
Calendars – Everyone needs a calendar, and having them in your home is so cozy. I always give calendars for gifts, and I love getting them for gifts. Calendars.com offers hundreds of calendars in almost every possible category to decorate your home office this winter.
California Wine Club – All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. When you work all day from your home office, you might want to unwind some evenings with a really nice glass of wine. Wine is a great gift, and giving a gift of a wine club membership is even better. PLUS with the California Wildfires devastating the state and damaging its economy this autumn, when you buy wine from the California Wine of the Month Club you can contribute to their recovery process.
Ugly Sweaters – Ugly Christmas sweaters are actually not ugly at all. Many of them are actually really pretty or cute. And a lot of them are funny. I want one. For women and men as well as children. And there’s even a sweater for dogs.
Lasko Heater – It can be so hard to keep warm inside on winter days. I’ve been using this Lasko space heater this winter and it is awesome. It keeps your office space – or any small space – toasty and comfy, plus it’s nice and quiet.
Back Support – If you experience back pain or discomfort, a back support pillow gives great relief while you’re sitting in your desk chair. The LoveHome memory foam lumbar support memory foam cushion is simple and effective and costs only $26 on Amazon right here.
Echo Dot -You can easily ask Alexa anything you want with this little voice assistant. It’s a fun way to get a quick – and usually accurate – answer to any question you have. You can grab one off Amazon right here.
Godiva Chocolates – Food helps keep you warm and, fortunately, chocolate is food! Godiva is, of course, one of the best chocolatiers in the world and they offer many different gift boxes of chocolates, including these amazing truffles. It’s super fun to take a break from work in order to eat a truffle!
Pressure Cooker – My partner makes meals for us with this pressure cooker, and it is just the best. Food that usually takes hours to make – chicken, pulled pork, risotto, etc. – takes minutes with this pressure cooker. With this pressure cooker you can have healthy and hot meals, quick.
Homedics Heated Shiatsu Massager – If you love massage – or just need a massage – the Homedics heated massager will leave you feeling incredibly relaxed. This massager heats up and gives you amazing deep tissue massage. This would be at the very top of my gift list, but I already own one. I could use it all day long. I literally am getting a deep tissue heated massage with it as I’m writing this right now.
La Crosse Weather Station – If you’re wondering exactly how cold it is outside, one way you can find out in a nanosecond is to look up at your La Crosse weather station on the wall. My partner just bought one of these for his home office, and it works perfectly plus it looks good.
Amazon Prime – And last but not least, Prime – If you know someone who still doesn’t have Amazon Prime, now is the time!
