I do too. Lots of people struggle with productivity.
Fortunately, there are lots of productivity tips out there that can help us all with this. One of the most important of these productivity tips, in my opinion, is to develop a positive frame of mind.
Positive thoughts can help with everything, from work to relationships to mental as well as physical health.
There are three very basic emotions that can really help us think more positively and become more productive – peace, love and happiness.
When you’re filled with these three emotions, it’s a lot easier to have the energy and positive attitude you need in order to get things done in your freelance work life as well as your personal life.
Of course, positive emotions are not all that easy to come by sometimes. It can be very difficult to create a positive attitude. That’s why I’ve written this post.
Here are some ideas for how you can achieve feelings of peace, love and happiness which can help improve your positivity and your productivity.
How Peace, Love and Happiness Can Increase Your Productivity
The more peace you have in your life, the more relaxed you will be and the more efficiently you can work. But how can one achieve peace?
Well. That is a big question.
Maybe events throughout your life have led you easily to peace. Maybe events in your life have caused you to struggle hard to find any kind of peace at all.
If you’ve naturally and easily found peace in your life, that is wonderful. Please leave a comment below and let us know how you did it. If you struggle to find peace, keep trying. Many people find peace through religion, through meditation, by letting go of what doesn’t matter, not sweating the small stuff, leaving behind the past and not worrying about the future. Or a combination of the above.
Peace inside yourself can be super hard to achieve. But don’t give up. This inner calm can benefit not only your physical health, your mental health and your emotional health. A sense of peace, whether temporary or permanent, gives you the ability to think clearly and to focus. Peace helps you to to be productive and accomplish more.
We all love doing what we love to do. If you love your work, you’re naturally going to want to spend a lot of time doing it. If you love it a lot, you may want to spend more time working than you do engaging in other activities which most people would think are more fun than work.
Even when you adore your work, many things – your kids, beautiful weather, the internet – can still override your attention to it, causing you to lose focus and not be as productive as you would like. A love of your work, though, makes it much easier to return your thoughts and your actions back to your work than it is for people who don’t love, don’t like or even hate what they do for a living.
Figure out how to freelance doing what you love to do. When you love your job, you’ll naturally want to work hard at it, and being productive will be a cinch.

Everyone wants to be happy. Happiness, however, can be elusive, unfortunately. A lot of advice exists for how to find happiness. This is a good thing because many studies show that happiness has a big impact on physical health.
Happiness also affects your productivity. How?
If you’re happy, you’re likely to have more mental energy for getting things done than if you’re unhappy and struggling just to get by day to day. You can direct this happiness-related energy into productivity and then naturally feel even happier when this increase in productivity helps you to earn a higher income.
You need not throw the switch all the way from your current frame of mind to a state of total peace, love and happiness. That’s a bit much to ask of anyone. But you can’t argue with the fact that possessing even just a bit of these qualities will affect you positively in your work and in your life. Increase the peace, love and happiness inside yourself and you will be able to increase your productivity.
